The high-pressure cleaner can clean the cleaned items thoroughly through high-pressure jet, which is mainly composed of filter element, crankshaft case, pressure valve, sealing parts, pressure gauge and other components, so what is the role of these components when they are used?
A good water inlet filter element is a cheap way to protect the high-pressure cleaner equipment. Dust, debris and sand can easily damage valves and pistons. Use a filter cloth of 60-100 mesh and a size appropriate to the water flow and ensure regular checks.
Crhaft case
Faults with the crankshaft case are rare, if it is properly maintained, the oil should be changed after the first 50 hours use, then every 500 hours or every year or until it emulsifies. It is usually due to ageing and degradation caused by temperature or leaks in the oil. The oil will heat up if the crankshaft case drain plug is not properly tightened or if the oil seal is sucked in by the vacuum
Pressure relief valve
Only to be used if the high-pressure cleaner is sensitive to the higher inlet pressure, it will not work due to too inlet pressure.
Seal
Most pumps are designed with a water circulation system to lubricate the seals to prevent leakage due to wear. The related seal should be replaced it exceeds the wear limit or the pressure drops. Remember that a new pump sometimes has a higher friction resistance until the fit between the seal and piston is more appropriate
Pressure gauge
Manufacturers seldom supply them as they so often do not work. Unless a more expensive type is used, they are usually built into cost of the whole machine, but in any event, they provide an important warning condition for monitoring nozzle wear and the reduced output caused by seal failure and obviate more expensive later.
Safety valve
To release the water when the pressure exceeds the set warning pressure. A burst disk is a designed weakness which will break when the pressure exceeds the design pressure.
Relief valve
This is the main safety part of the high-pressure cleaner, which ensures the free use of the spray gun and the flow of through the system. If the spray gun is not completely released, the pressure will continue to rise until the power unit (petrol engine or electric motor) is damaged or the pump hose or spray gun is broken. The relief valve allows all or part of the water to flow back into the tank or inlet to prevent pressure from rising.
Nozzle
nozzle is a simple mechanism, the core of which is a ball valve operated by a trigger. The valve ball is held in the closed position or in the forward position by the of the water flow. Or the channel through which the water flows through the gun to the nozzle is closed.
Only by understanding the role played by each component of the-pressure cleaner can the user better use it. At the same time, if the equipment has a fault problem, it is easier to find out which part is the problem, so to get better treatment.
